Happy Thanksgiving from Querencia!

Our residents kicked off the holiday with our first annual Querencia Turkey Trot, enjoying fresh Hill Country air, good company, and lots of laughs.

After our trot, Nate and our talented culinary team fired up the grill, serving hot dogs and hamburgers that brought everyone together to enjoy the afternoon.

We are truly thankful for this community and all the moments that bring us together!

Physical therapist Kerry Miller shares the simple safety steps that actually work:

🟣 using gait belts during transfers,
🟣 keeping assistive devices with you at all times (no "furniture cruising"), and
🟣 always locking wheelchair and bed brakes.

🎨✨ Querencia’s halls turned into a true art district this week! With over 50 incredible pieces of art created by more than 15 talented residents, our community came alive with creativity and inspiration.

Thanks to the generosity of our residents, families, and friends, the silent auction raised over $5,000 to support Querencia’s Team Member Emergency Fund ❤️.

We are so grateful to everyone who shared their gifts and those who gave in support—together, we make a beautiful difference!

We had a Solid Gold celebration to remember as Querencia marked 18 incredible years! ✨ Residents and guests enjoyed a dazzling variety show followed by music and dancing with the unforgettable The Defibrillators keeping the energy high all night long.

🌸 May was full of vibrant moments at Querencia! 🌟

Residents celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with meaningful experiences, including Ikebana—the Japanese art of flower arranging—and a delicious culinary journey to Korea.

We also enjoyed a beautiful outing to Zilker Park Botanical Garden and came together in gratitude during a heartfelt Memorial Day celebration. 🌺🌿🍜🇺🇸
