Our foundation as an organization is the idea that good physical health is achieved through balance. The ability to balance – literally, as in up on two feet - is essential for upright posture. Relative balance between left and right, strength and endurance, power and dexterity, and activity and rest all contribute to optimal mechanical function. Musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and vestibular systems must all work in balance to achieve coordinated movement. Figuratively, the balanced relationships between the body and the mind also impact a person's overall wellness. We are orthopedic and manual therapy experts – focusing our clinical practice on the hands-on care and specific activity prescription that is known to be effective for the management of musculoskeletal mobility problems and a broad variety of pain syndromes. We also take pride in providing a personable and comfortable office environment where our clients can feel at home. At Symmetry Physical Therapy, your care will be individually customized, so that your personal goals for therapy may be achieved efficiently. We believe that a team approach to care – where you, the client, are significantly involved in treatment planning and goal setting – is the best way to achieve optimal results. Symmetry can be defined as 'the beauty of form arising from balanced proportions.'
