If the people in your life are pushing you for more, it’s because they see potential in you that you might not see in yourself yet.

They’ll believe in you and push you until you start to believe in yourself.

Before long, your internal dialogue shifts from “I can’t, I’m too scared to try” to “yes I can and I WILL - or I’ll fail TRYING”

If you don’t have these types of people in your life…
Or worse - you have people in your life who enable your behavior, encourage mediocrity, and pull you down every time you try to do something to better yourself…

You need to re-evaluate your circle.

Proximity is power.

Surround yourself with people who are winning and who want to see you win and I promise you…

This kind of surface level self talk is exactly what’s keeping you stuck.

Saying “I just need to be more consistent” is about as helpful as someone telling you, “just do what you’re doing but do it better”

Like…okay…but HOW??

We need to dig deeper.

- WHAT is making it difficult for you to stay consistent?
- WHY is that making it difficult for you?
- HOW can we implement a plan or system that makes it easier?

Is it that you don’t have a plan that makes it easy to make choices in line with your goals?

Do you not know how to navigate going out to eat with your friends?

Do you have family you live with that isn’t supportive of your goals?

Once we know the WHAT & WHY
Then we can build the HOW

That’s when it becomes EASY to make the choices that move you forward

And that’s how habits are built

But telling yourself “I just need to be better” without any substance or direction exactly why you’re inconsistent, frustrated, and stuck

Or maybe you’re just hiding behind “I just need to be more consistent” so you don’t have to face what’s really holding you back (cause that can be scary)🤷🏼‍♂️

The alternative is that you stay stuck and spinning your wheels for another however many years.

I don’t want that for you.

I don’t think you do either.

I’m proud to say that getting shredded was least epic part of this transformation.

When we started, Dillon was a Kinesiology student with a background in nursing. He had the knowledge, but was stuck in his own progress. He was tracking his food but with high fats that left him bloated, training hard but missing the mark on form and mind-muscle connection, and battling high stress with a sleep schedule that was leaving him drained.

He had the “tools,” but he didn’t have the roadmap.
The problem wasn’t effort.
It was strategy.

I see this ~all the time~

Clients who “know what to do” but struggle with “how to do it”
Overwhelmed and paralyzed with information overload (it really is crazy these days)
Continuing to fall back into the same cycles that are keeping them stuck.
Limiting beliefs.
Patterns that aren’t serving them.
Constantly in their own way.

So we rebuilt his foundation from the ground up.
And he started seeing results faster and better than he ever thought possible.

Halfway through, Dillon told me: “Today I saw the future version of myself. I love that.”

That future version is now a reality. Dillon didn’t just “get lean.” He graduated school, he’s setting the pace in his professional career, and he’s engaged to the love of his life.

This is what happens when you stop guessing and start executing on a professional-grade plan.

“Some of us are dipped in flat, some satin, and some gloss. But every now and then you find someone who’s iridescent….and when you do, nothing else will ever compare”

The moment I met Alexa I knew she was different.

She didn’t just glow or shine.

She was ~iridescent~

And although I wasn’t “ready” for a relationship when we met…

She said something I’ll never forget:

“You can’t pick and choose when you meet people”

She reminded me that “ready” isn’t a feeling.

It’s a choice.

In that moment, I decided to choose her.

That day, every day since then, and every day to come.

And after years of choosing each other and learning how to love, support, communicate, and grow together...

We wanted the energy of our wedding to match the iridescent energy of the woman I fell in love with.

The colors.
The location.
The adventure.
The literal ~magic~ (no really officiated and did a magic trick during the ceremony lol)
And all of our favorite humans by our side.
Together in paradise.
Celebrating love and life.

From surprising me with his beautiful first look (you look damn good in a dress brother)

To and epic flower performance

officiating and doing literal MAGIC during our ceremony (I fu***ng love you dawg)

Probably also Caleb magically making it rain during our vows (because what’s more romantic than that?)

Alexa kicking the smashing glass across the rooftop and taking a mulligan before smashing it with a MAZEL TOV!!!

Absolutely incredible speeches from our officiant, best man and MOH’s, siblings and parents

A first-dance for the BOOKS

The spicy polaroids that Alexa had her bridesmaids slip to me throughout the night 👀

Spending quality time with all of our favorite humans and watching friendships form between them

The insane attention to detail that Alexa put into every ounce of this wedding. From the colors to florals, decor, and more.

The entire week was a fu***ng dream.
We could not have asked for a better wedding.

Thank you to everyone who made it so special.
I love you all to the moon.

Important notes:

- betaine hcl is king for re-acidification - programmed properly you can re-acidify in 6-8 weeks (you do not have to take this forever)

- do NOT re-acidify until you know that h pylori is not present (very common with low stomach acid and if present it’ll just burrow deeper during re-acidification and be even harder to get rid of)

- if you’re not sure if h pylori is present, act as if it is and treat for it first (mastic gum, dgl, zinc carnosine, megaguard are all good for this)

- if you don’t address stress, you’re only treating half of the issue (parasympathetic “rest and digest” nervous system stimulates the vagus nerve which signals the body to produce hydrochloric acid (stomach acid) and digestive enzymes - which is why high stress / poor stress mgmt = poor digestion)

- yes, I’m looking at you who says you’re not stressed but also can’t slow down, sit still, or take a day off

- no, working out is not stress management

- yes, this is also why you have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep and are kept up with a busy brain

- yes, this all directly impacts your ability to sleep, recover, digest, build muscle, burn fat, balance hormones, clear estrogen, etc (digestion is a crucial phase of the body’s detoxification pathway)

- yes, this is why you’re bloated and tired

- yes, this is why you’re not seeing better progress

- yes, we can fix it

Getting back on track is a skill that takes practice.

As with anything, there are some strategies that work better than others.

Overwhelming yourself by expecting you’re gonna get everything back on track right away? Not a great strategy. No wonder you’re burnt out and beating yourself up for not being perfect 🤷🏼‍♂️

Having a structured approach to getting things back on track in ways that are challenging, not overwhelming? Works every time.

Here’s what works for me and my clients.

Tony Robbins says your #1 enemy is the stories you tell yourself.

Time and time again I see this is the BIGGEST thing that holds people back from their full potential.

You will ALWAYS find a story that reinforces what you choose to believe about your life.

Brutally examine every story you tell yourself and realize that 99% are completely made up and based on incomplete facts.

Bonus - that’s why coaching is so powerful. Half of these stories are cycles you’re stuck in and not even aware of.

Awareness is the first step.
Action is the second.

If you want to change your life, start by changing your story.

Whether you believe you can or you can’t, you’re right.

Bruh…this cycle is exhaustinggggg

You start off strong and commitment is high.

Then life happens.

Work gets stressful…
Your schedule blows up…
Your energy drops…

And suddenly you feel like if you can’t do everything perfectly…there’s no point in doing anything at all.

So you say “f**k it” and quit (again).

Because the story you’ve been telling yourself is that doing this imperfectly means you’re failing.

Cause maybe it feels less like failing if you quit first 🤷‍♂️

And bruh…that cycle is exactly what’s keeping you stuck.

I know cause I’ve been there.
S**t, we’ve ALL been there.
And I promise you…
The ONLY way out is THROUGH.

But you don’t get through anything by quitting when life gets hard.
Or convincing yourself that you have to be perfect or do it all.
�The goal is in learning how to keep showing up.
ESPECIALLY when life gets chaotic cause let’s be so fu***ng fr right now….there will ALWAYS be chaotic seasons of life.

Those of us who have made this a lifestyle aren’t successful because we don’t have chaos in our lives.
Of course we do.
We’re human.

We’re successful because we’ve learned how to keep showing up amidst the chaos.
Because we’re okay with NOT being perfect.
Because we adapt instead of quitting.
Because we ask for and accept accountability.
Because we’ve learned the tools that make it easier to make decisions that keep us on track (or keep us from falling off quite so far)

So when you hire a coach because you want someone to hold you accountable…

Know that we’re not holding you accountable to impossible standards or perfection…
You are (oof sorry not sorry lol)

We’re simply holding you accountable to not abandoning yourself when life gets hard.
