Jenny Clary Yoga E-RYT 200, RYT 500
Contact: jenny@jennycyoga.com Jenny is a certified E-RYT 200, RYT 500 yoga instructor. She is a 200-hr.

Jenny is a Level 2 trained iRest® Yoga Nidra Teacher-In-Training and remains committed to continuous learning to inform both her personal practice and her teaching. Power yoga teacher training lead and develops and facilitates special classes, series, and workshops. Jenny also designs and leads yoga retreats in the US and internationally. Jenny has nurtured a long love affair with movement and the body as a means of creative and emotional expression. She came to yoga looking for relief from chronic physical pain issues and to find a quieter place in her mind during difficult times.Through her practice, Jenny discovered her capacity for transformation both on and off the mat. Through the interplay of music, philosophy, mindfulness, and attention to alignment Jenny strives to help her students find meditation in movement and experience their own potential for change and growth every time they come to their mat. Jenny received her Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, specializing in community development, with experience in social, environmental, and reproductive justice efforts. She spent years doing applied social research focused on poverty and economic security issues to inform meaningful change. While passionate about what she was doing, Jenny felt at times removed from the impact of her work. Teaching yoga and meditation is what brings her closer to the change she hopes to help create in the world.

It’s been a while, but this yoga mama is ready to get back in the flow. After a two-year hiatus and a cross-country move, I am so honored to join the team at and share my love of this practice with my new community. Greenville yogis, thank you for welcoming me into the fold!

Big news! It’s time for me to stretch in some new directions. I’ve accepted an opportunity to get back into the data/research work I did before moving to ATX and will be stepping away from teaching for a while.

Of course, the yoga goes on! I hope to continue supporting my fellow teachers and subbing classes here and there. And with some space to recommit to my own practice, I hope we will be rolling out our mats beside each other to practice together in the days to come.

Today, I will teach my last regular flow class at noon at and I hope to see you there.

If you’d like to stay in touch, please feel free to connect with me on my personal page

This is not goodbye! It’s just another big change and I’m gonna breathe my way through it.

Obligatory yoga photo for International Yoga Day.

What? It only counts if you post a handstand or some crazy contortion? Mm… I respectfully disagree. My yoga isn’t all that fancy. My yoga isn’t shocking. It’s quiet. It’s calming. It’s an inward practice.

It’s okay if your practice doesn’t look all that fancy either. What matters is how it helps you get to know yourself and how it makes you feel.

Now that my baby is increasingly mobile, it’s time for me to get increasingly mobile again. I got on my mat this morning just to play with shapes, without needing a “workout” or trying to achieve any goal and it was WONDERFUL. Never forget how important it is to play 😘
