Hello to all Friends of Sendero (aka Frienderos) - we have exciting news to share! Sendero may return to providing Medicaid services to the Travis County area!

That means more area residents will have access to high-quality services available from OUR own community health plan.

Our money supported Sendero's launch by Central Health. Sendero is the ONLY 4-Star rated plan by the CMS in Texas and now our community members most in need may soon be able to access Sendero too.

If Sendero goes into Medicaid, it means Sendero becomes an even stronger community health plan and we can keep federal and state dollars invested right here in our community. That is good for those who need Medicaid services, those who are members of Sendero now, and all Travis County residents. It's a Win-Win-Win!

This letter from LULAC spells out the benefits. It appears that Central Health has not finalized their decision to move forward with Sendero going into Medicaid. That is happening tomorrow, Wednesday, May 25. We think it might be good to send a note to our Travis County leaders and our County Judge as well as to Central Health's Board of Directors expressing your opinion on Central Health’s plan to have Sendero offer Medicaid.

Thank you!

Just got this from Sendero's CEO:

Re: Final Hours of Extended Open Enrollment - Last-Chance through Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 2:00 a.m.

Dear Sendero Member,

If you missed your chance to enroll in health insurance for next year, you now have until early Wednesday morning to do so. The deadline for Open Enrollment was extended by the federal government until December 18th at 2:00 AM.

Go to www.SenderoHealth.com and click on the "Get a Quote" button for a free, no-obligation quote and to learn if you qualify for tax credits that can lower your out of pocket costs.

Sendero is pleased to offer the lowest-cost Bronze Plans on the marketplace and the largest provider network of doctors and specialists, including those from St. David’s, Seton, ARC, ADC, and more.

Save as much as $200 a month by choosing Sendero's lowest-cost Bronze Plans instead of higher cost Silver Plans found on the exchange. If you're shopping for a Silver Plan, we also offer the lowest-cost Silver Plans available directly from Sendero compared to all other on-exchange Silver plans. Take advantage of great coverage at a much lower price while you still can.

Even if you don’t qualify for a large premium assistance subsidy, you will find many affordable options with Sendero’s lowest-cost Silver and Bronze Plans .

We're here to help. Our phones are open from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. today! Call 512-593-6227 or go online to www.SenderoHealth.com before Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 2:00 a.m. Get a quote in 5 minutes!

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Wesley Durkalski
President and Chief Executive Officer
