Dr. Hoffarth is a board certified Family Physician with advanced training in Functional Medicine and Age Management. He practiced family medicine for more than 10 years. Dr. Hoffarth moved to the Lakeway, Texas area from South Lake Tahoe, California with his wife and daughter in 2012 then after COVID moved to Houston. Dr. Hoffarth completed his undergraduate study in Psychology and Biology at St. Mary's College in Moraga, California and graduated medical school at St. Georges University as well as completed his residency at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Hoffarth has a very wide range of skills as a family physician. Prior to moving to Lakeway, he practiced family medicine in South Lake Tahoe for 10 years; doing everything from delivering babies to colonoscopies. Dr. Hoffarth has deep knowledge and understanding of every level of his field. His experience having been a hospitalist as well as an ER doctor, in addition to his day to day practice, lends to his very diverse and unique set of skills. He is now privileged to be able to focus his passion and energy on his patients here in the Austin area. Dr. Hoffarth's passion is how to optimize his patients health from every possible angle. He is a fervent believer and practitioner of eating right, exercising regularly, and adopting a healthy lifestyle. What good is a doctor who doesn't take his own advice?
