What a sweet afternoon at Atria at The Arboretum 🤍
The Girl Scouts stopped by with cookies, hot cocoa, and handmade Christmas cards, filling the community with smiles and heartfelt moments. We ended the afternoon with a beautiful piano performance by Eric Daub, which made it all feel even more special.

McKenna, the Executive Director at Atria Park of Ann Arbor, shared her passion for Roller Derby, and residents loved every minute of it! 🛼

After hearing her stories, residents were thrilled to watch her team compete. It was such a joy to see McKenna shine in a whole new way.

"It was more exciting to share this experience with my Atria family than it was to share it with my biological family," Mckenna laughs. "My kids see it all the time – Roller Derby is part of my life. My Atria family has never experienced Roller Derby or gotten to meet my Roller Derby persona 'Hell Kat'. I was over the moon to share it with them!"

After receiving plants during our Earth Day event, they’ve been nurturing their indoor gardens into the winter with care and excitement. Sue even shared that she’d never been able to grow a plant before — and now hers are thriving and sprouting new “plant babies.” 🌱
