Agnes RF works very well — but only when it’s used for the right reasons.

In my practice, I most often use it for:

• early lower face laxity
• softening along the jawline
• under-chin fullness
• small, targeted areas of fat that don’t respond to other treatments

It’s a precision-based treatment, which means it’s not about treating the entire face — it’s about addressing specific areas where subtle refinement can make a meaningful difference.

Results develop gradually as collagen remodels over time, which is why it tends to look natural rather than obvious.

As with any treatment, candidacy depends on what is actually causing the concern.

Consultations allow us to determine whether it’s appropriate — and how it fits into a broader treatment plan.

Most concerns I see in the lower face aren’t caused by a single issue — which is why they’re rarely improved with a single treatment.

One of my most commonly used approaches for patients seeking jawline refinement and overall skin quality combines:

• Agnes RF for targeted fat reduction• Secret RF for skin tightening• NOUVADerm laser for resurfacing and texture

Each treatment addresses a different layer.

Agnes RF allows for precise reduction of small, stubborn areas of fat.Secret RF supports collagen and helps improve skin laxity.NOUVADerm focuses on surface texture, tone, and overall skin quality.

When used together, the goal isn’t to dramatically change the face — it’s to create subtle, layered refinement so the result looks natural and balanced over time.

As always, the right approach depends on the individual.

Consultations allow us to determine what combination — if any — makes the most sense based on your anatomy, skin condition, and goals.

What patients think I do:
“Fill lines and add volume.”

What I actually do:
Assess skin quality, facial structure, and how things are changing over time… then decide what (if anything) should be treated, when, and how.

A large part of aesthetic medicine is not just performing treatments — it’s understanding why changes are happening and choosing an approach that leads to natural, balanced results.

And sometimes, that means recommending less than expected.

Agnes RF is often misunderstood as a general “tightening” treatment.

In reality, it works best for very specific concerns.

In my practice, I most often use Agnes RF for:
• early lower face laxity• softening along the jawline• under-chin fullness• small, targeted areas of fat that don’t respond to other treatments

It’s a precision-based treatment, which means it’s not about treating the entire face — it’s about addressing specific areas where subtle refinement can make a meaningful difference.

Results develop gradually as collagen remodels over time, which is why it tends to look natural rather than obvious.

Like many treatments, it’s not the right solution for everyone.

A consultation allows us to determine whether it’s appropriate — and how it fits into a broader treatment plan.

The difference is rarely how much is done — it’s how it’s done.

When patients look refreshed, it’s usually the result of thoughtful treatment selection, careful sequencing, and restraint.

When results appear overdone, it’s often because too much emphasis was placed on a single approach, or treatments were performed without fully considering skin quality, facial structure, and how the face changes over time.

Aesthetic medicine isn’t about chasing a single correction.

It’s about understanding how the face evolves — including collagen loss, shifts in fat pad volume, and changes in structural support — and choosing treatments that work with those changes, not against them.

In many cases, subtle, layered treatments that support both structure and skin quality lead to the most natural results.

The goal is not transformation.
It’s refinement.

Many patients assume filler is the first step for jawline concerns.

In reality, that depends on what’s actually causing the change.

In some cases, volume loss may be a factor. But more often, what patients are noticing is a combination of skin laxity, early jowling, or subtle shifts in facial structure over time.

When filler is used in the wrong context, it can add weight without improving definition.
This is why treatment planning matters.

In many cases, addressing skin quality and supporting collagen — or using targeted tightening treatments — leads to a more natural, refined result.

A consultation allows us to determine what is actually driving the change and what approach makes the most sense.

Ever wonder what actually happens during a Nouvaderm laser treatment? Dr. Ling breaks it all down in real time.

She starts with the Nouvaderm laser, then applies an epidermal growth factor mask to kick-start skin repair, and wraps up with ContourLight therapy to support healing. The result is a layered, thoughtful approach that goes well beyond the laser itself.

This is the kind of care you can expect every time you come to Dr. Ling's house of beauty.

Most patients don’t need more treatments — they need a better plan.

The consultation process is one of the most important parts of my practice.

I personally perform all initial cosmetic consultations and design individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s concerns, skin health, medical history, lifestyle, and goals.

My approach is methodical and evidence-based. Not every treatment is appropriate, and not everything needs to be done at once. Some treatments provide more immediate improvement, while others are designed to build gradually over time.

A large part of what I do is education. We discuss how the face and skin change over time — including collagen loss, skin quality, fat pad volume, and structural changes — so you understand not only what is changing, but why.

From there, we determine a plan that is thoughtful, appropriate, and aligned with your long-term goals.
