GET30 GET30 is a wellness program based in Austin, Texas. Our program is for everybody, from young kids to elderly adults. Everyone is encouraged to get involved.

Our program focuses on improving health and wellness, reducing the incidence and effects of obesity, and lowering the health risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease. If you have 30 minutes, then you have time for GET30. Because GET30 is not activity specific, it can be integrated with existing health and wellness initiatives to enhance success. GET30 leverages the collective strength and encouragement of key community partners, health and wellness leaders, civic organizations, social and corporate networks, and friends and families to help reverse the growing obesity trend.

There are things in life, that happen everyday, that can get you down. But don't quit! Fight through the the people and things that get you down. There is always an excuse. But you have the choice to push yourself towards your goals. All it takes is 30 minutes of movement a day. Use that time to get away from it all. YOU CAN DO IT. No one is perfect, and there will be days you skip a workout or maybe you didn't eat as healthy. Just keep moving towards your goals. Day in and day out, you make a choice to continue. To work towards a better you. Excuses can arise daily during the holidays; whether it be family, food, or stress. DONT GIVE IN! Take control of your life. This is the time to work hard and show your loved one's what you are capable of. Stay strong and keep grinding. 30 minutes of movement a day is all it takes. The weather may be changing, but this is the time to push yourself. The holidays bring fun, family, and FOOD! Don't stress about the small things. Just make an effort, everyday, to do better than the day before! Never stop working towards your goal. All it takes is 30 minutes of movement a day. We all strive to better ourselves. We work hard, put in the effort, and grind day in and day out. Sometimes you stop and take a moment to look back on where you started; to see how close you are to your goal. This can get you down at times leaving you frustrated and discouraged. STOP! The choice to take that first step towards something different is never easy. So instead of getting down on yourself, stop and think about how far you have come! Even the slightest victory is something to be proud of; because YOU DID THAT! You made the choice to better yourself. All it takes is 30 minutes of movement a day. There are times when your sore, or have a bad day, or just dont feel like doing anything. But have the discipline to push yourself! Its ONLY 30 minutes out of your day!
