Here are 5 ways to care for your nervous system this month (and every month):
1. Get Adjusted Regularly
Remove the interference. Restore clear communication between your brain and body. Give yourself the foundation for optimal function.

2. Prioritize Deep Sleep
Your nervous system repairs and resets during sleep. 7-9 hours isn’t indulgent, it’s essential for hormone regulation, mood stability, and healing.

3. Practice Breathwork
Deep, intentional breathing activates your vagus nerve and shifts you out of fight-or-flight mode. Try 4-7-8 breathing: inhale for 4, hold for 7, exhale for 8. Instant reset.

4. Move Your Body Gently
Walking, stretching, yoga—gentle movement signals SAFETY to your nervous system. You don’t need intense workouts. You need joyful, consistent movement.

5. Connect with Safe People

“Everyone’s story will be different but here’s mine: I stopped sleeping through the night in
2018. Five doctors and thousands of dollars later, all of them were stumped.
My sleep got so bad that I was going 4-5 consecutive night stints without a wink. The toll on the rest of my physical and mental health was as you’d imagine. A friend suggested I try these good people at Truly, and a little voice in my head nudged me to visit.
After my first scan Dr. J told me she thought I’d sleep that night. I inwardly laughed. Only then I did I sleep. Seven glorious hours. Then I kept sleeping through the night... 27 out of 30 nights my first month. That was something I simply didn’t do for 7 solid years.
Seven months into treatment, I’m seeing nervous system challenges I struggled with most of my life peel back and fade. I went for sleep, and ended up with relief from so much more.
