Thermography is a radiation-free, pain-free, state-of-the-art screening procedure that captures heat images of the whole body, as well as target areas like the breasts, to aid in the early detection of cancer and other diseases. As a tumor grows, it develops a blood supply that emits heat which can then be detected with a specialized infrared thermal camera. A team of doctors highly trained and ce

rtified in the science of thermography then interpret the thermal images, note abnormalities, and make recommendations for further evaluation as warranted. Thermography can be utilized by women with dense breast tissue and women of any age, even young women with a family history of breast cancer. Whereas mammography is not recommended under the age of 40, can miss up to 20% of tumors, has the radiation dosage of 20 chest x-rays, is especially painful for many women, and has been found to be statistically ineffective in women with dense breasts. Don’t ignore the red flags. 🚩
​In September 2024, a patient’s thermography scan showed a clear area of risk - a "hot spot" where her body was signaling for attention.

She chose to wait and didn't investigate the concern.

By June 2025, that same spot was diagnosed as Stage 2 breast cancer.

Now, that she is back for her 2026 scan post-mastectomy and reconstruction, she shared this powerful reflection:
​"The thermography showed exactly where the cancer was, but I didn't do anything about it. I realized a year later that the thermography was right all along."

​She asked me to share her story because she wants you to know:
