Have you ever seen blood on the toilet paper during bowel movements? How about blood in the toilet? Re**al bleeding is a fairly common symptom for patients in our offices. ⁣

Let’s be clear, most re**al bleeding is from common anore**al problems like hemorrhoids, a**l fissures, and others.⁣

However, bleeding can a sign of colore**al polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, or cancer. ⁣

Minor, intermittent re**al bleeding is often the 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐦 at diagnosis for our colore**al cancer patients.⁣

No matter your age, never assume bleeding is simply your hemorrhoids. Let your gastroenterologist or colore**al surgeon be the one to tell you. Always get checked! ⁣

Better Care. Better Results.

"Central Texas Colon and Re**al Surgeons, is dedicated to providing our patients with the highest quality, state-of-the-art care in a safe, convenient, and compassionate manner."

Founded in 2008, Central Texas Colon and Re**al Surgeons (CTCRS) is the largest group of board-certified colon and re**al surgeons in the greater Austin and central Texas region. Our surgeons have over 120 years of combined experience treating both common and rare diseases of the colon, re**um, and a**s. Utilizing efficient, evidence-based care and cutting-edge technology and techniques, our surgeons have been the preferred healthcare providers for colore**al disease for the past 25 years. Our group was the first in Austin to routinely adopt minimally-invasive robotic techniques for colore**al surgery and have now performed well over a 1,000 procedures since the technology was introduced.

In addition to minimally invasive surgical techniques, we offer:

  • Colon cancer screening via colonoscopy
