The medication being used in the Vanderbilt LC Recovery study is a medication that is already FDA approved for RA. They are using Baricitinib. I’ve researched this medication pretty thoroughly and although the study is only focusing on cognition. It is being used in hopes of decreasing inflammation in the brain. It appears to me that the medication should have decrease inflammation in other paces too which will decrease my pain. If anyone has experience with this medication will you please share. Were there side effects? Were there benefits for what t was prescribed for?
