The TACHC team and our CEO traveled throughout the Valley and South Texas to visit incredible health centers in Cotulla, Laredo, and Crystal City. Huge shoutout to South Texas Rural Health Services, Inc. Gateway Community Health Center, and Vida Y Salud-Health Systems, Inc. for their dedication to improving health and supporting their communities.

We also celebrated the first graduating class of the TACHC/Gateway MA Apprenticeship Program — a proud moment for the future of our CHC workforce! 💙✨

Community leaders, elected officials, health care partners, donors, board members, and dedicated staff came together to celebrate this milestone—highlighting the shared effort it takes to expand access to care in Texas.The new clinic offers comprehensive medical services, on‑site pharmacy support, and a truly patient‑centered approach designed to meet families where they are. 💙

TACHC, alongside our member centers Waco Family Medicine and Frontera Healthcare Network, participated in today’s Rural Texas Maternal Health Assembly at the Texas Capitol.

This gathering brought together rural providers, consumers, health plans, academic partners, foundations, and key state leaders to better understand the challenges facing rural mothers and the clinicians who serve them.

Together, we’re working to shape pragmatic, data‑informed recommendations to improve rural maternal health. 💚
