We are asking Folks to PLEASE STAY HOME during this weather event. With this amount of Snow our response time will be slower and with the road conditions could be dangerous for our crews. By staying off the streets and roads all of the responders can stay safe. When we respond to a call remember we will be slower due to road conditions along with fire and law enforcement. We want everyone to enjoy the snow but do it safely. Thanks, we appreciate everyone.

Ava Area Ambulance District is accepting sealed bids for the sale of a 2019 Ford F-450 chassis with extended cab and diesel engine. 207,000-plus miles. Also, the Chassis is a 4 X 4. Can be seen at Cox Ambulance station, 1412 Prince St., in Ava. Mail bids to Ava Ambulance District, PO Box 971, Ava MO 65608. Bids will be opened at March 9, 2026 meeting. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. $7,500 reserve.

UPDATE ON EMT CLASS IN AVA AT THE AVA AREA AMBULANCE BOARD TRAINING CENTER

This will also be used to make contact with potential students and to create a list for making selections if needed. This morning the Ava Area Ambulance Board provided breakfast to our COX EMS STAFF AVA. We would like to say, thank you for serving our community. We are blessed with a great TEAM and AMAZING JOB from each one of you. Hope you enjoyed the breakfast, and I borrowed a picture of our C Crew love the shirts.
