Accidents happen—a sprain, small cut, or fall can catch you off guard. Knowing basic care helps healing start faster.

Splints: Keep the injured area still. Use something firm like cardboard or a magazine, wrap gently, and apply ice.
Cuts: Stop bleeding with pressure, rinse with clean water, add ointment, and bandage. See a doctor if it’s deep or won’t stop bleeding.

Keep a first aid kit handy, and if pain or swelling worsens, don’t wait—get checked.
