A message from Ride Director, Tim Furey:
“Overall the roads are in fantastic shape. Over the past month Madison, Thompson, and Geneva Townships have performed maintenance across all three courses.
During the ride riders will encounter gravel, chip seal, dirt and paved surfaces. The majority of all potholes have been filled in.
New gravel has been added in many areas. There may be a few sections of loose or soft gravel. It’s recommended that riders choose wider tires and lower pressure.
Because of the sections of loose gravel, riders are encouraged to check their tire sealant prior before the ride. It is also suggested that all riders bring spare inner tubes and a pump or CO2 device to make needed repairs on course.
There will be a SAG vehicle available to assist riders. All riders will be provided with a wrist band which has an emergency contact phone number.
