Love filled the halls at Avon Oaks this past weekend as we were honored to celebrate a truly special moment, the wedding of our long-term care resident, David Hagin, and his longtime girlfriend, Rita. Their beautiful union was a heartfelt reminder that love knows no age, and that life’s most meaningful milestones continue no matter where the journey takes us.

From the smiles and happy tears to the warmth shared by residents, staff, and loved ones, the day was nothing short of magical. Being able to witness and support David and Rita as they began this next chapter together speaks to what Avon Oaks is all about creating a home where connection, joy, and dignity are always at the center of care.

Moments like these go beyond healthcare. They are about honoring life, celebrating love, and embracing the stories that make each resident unique. We are grateful to have been part of such an unforgettable day and to have shared in the happiness that filled our community.
