One of the “homework assignments” I give some of my patients is to practice talking to themselves the way the best parent in the world would.

What would that voice sound like in hard moments?
When things don’t go as planned, maybe it says, you did your best.
When anger shows up, maybe it says, it makes sense that you’re upset, I know how much that mattered to you.
When self-criticism creeps in, maybe it says, you are capable, thoughtful, and strong.
And when you fail, maybe it simply says, I’m here.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot as we head into the new year. How much gentler could we be with ourselves in 2026? How much would shift if we spoke inwardly with the same care we so easily give others?

Happy Birthday, London!! Six months in, and it's hard to imagine our days without you. You show up steady, completely capable, and ready for anything! You learn quickly, take on every task with confidence, and always bring a sense of ease to the team.

We're so proud of you for continuing your own wellness career, passing your boards and becoming a certified personal trainer and nutritionist! đŸ’ȘđŸ„Š You do it all while keeping us laughing and I'd like to say keeping us young (but let's be honest, we're all still feel old!)

Happy birthday to the glue that holds this place together. I often wonder where I'd be without Kait. She's been such an incredible woman to work with- always inspiring us (and our patients) to set goals and keep ticking away at them.

She *lives* wellness. Taking care of her body, mind, and spirit. When they say surround yourself with people who push you to be the best version of yourself, this is what they mean.
