Dr. B was invited to present on niche marketing and brand development for early career dentists. 📈 Big shout out to the 160 dental students who signed up for the session and asked such thoughtful questions! 🫶🏼

It was an honor to represent the AAPD and District 1 of the ADA. 🦷🪥

Although the trip may have been under 24 hours, it was full of meaningful connections 🤝 and, of course, some deep dish pizza! 🍕

The Press Release says it all! Dr. B *cheers* new state law 🇺🇸❤️🦷💙

Working in close collaboration with the CT State Dental Association, Dr. B led a grassroots effort to protect community water fluoridation💧as the most equitable 🤝 and cost-effective 💵 way to prevent tooth decay.

Fluoridation Fast Facts: 🪥
•Recognized by the CDC as one of the 10 greatest public health achievements of the 20th century
•Prevents tooth decay by 25%
•Saves $38 in dental treatment costs for every $1 dollar invested
•Expands access to primary prevention for ALL of CT residents, including the uninsured and underinsured who could not otherwise access dental care

As part of the advocacy campaign, Dr. B made fact sheets, created testimony templates, and trained pediatric dental residents from UConn and Yale on how to testify. 📑

At the close of the 2025 legislative session, Governor Lamont signed this bill into law making CT the only state in the country to pass legislation affirming community water fluoridation. ✍🏼

Dr. B and Melissa volunteered at the 2025 Connecticut Mission of Mercy in New Britain, CT. 🦷 This free dental clinic serves thousands of patients across the state who are uninsured and underserved in an effort to increase access to care. 🪥
