The DAISY Foundation was created in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, whose family experienced firsthand the extraordinary compassion and care nurses provide. In gratitude, they established a meaningful way to publicly say “thank you” to nurses who make a difference every day. 💚💛

🎭💜💛💚 Laissez les bons temps rouler at Traditions at Reagan Park! 💚💛💜🎭

Today our community was filled with color, music, laughter, and a whole lot of joy as our residents celebrated Mardi Gras in style! Residents designed beautiful festive masks, baked (and tasted!) a delicious King Cake, and finished the day with a lively parade through the halls.

From glitter and feathers to smiles and sweet treats, the celebration was more than just fun — it was meaningful engagement, creativity, and fellowship. Moments like these support memory, encourage socialization, and remind us that life should always include reasons to celebrate.
We even had a few kings and queens crowned along the way! 👑

At Traditions, we don’t just create activities… we create moments of purpose, dignity, and connection.
