Important Changes to SNAP Benefits Starting January 1

Indiana is launching Smart SNAP, a new initiative to promote healthier food choices. Beginning January 1, 2026, sugary drinks and candy will no longer be eligible for purchase with SNAP benefits. This change is part of Governor Braun’s Make Indiana Healthy Again initiative. Learn more about what this means for you by visiting the Smart SNAP webpage.

One of the greatest blessings of being a domestic missionary—rather than an international one—is the opportunity to visit our faith community partners more often. Today, we had the privilege of hearing a powerful and moving message from Pastor Nate at Radiant Bible Church.

We are deeply grateful for our partners and the ways they walk alongside Hope. We’re a little behind on posting—but we couldn’t let this one go unshared.

On Friday, we had the joy of attending PNC’s Partner Appreciation Night and experiencing the Jingle Rails exhibit at The Eiteljorg Museum. Thank you to PNC for the invitation and for such a wonderful evening filled with great food, great conversation, and a truly fascinating exhibit.

One of the highlights was Jingle Rails itself—an incredible display featuring more than 1,200 feet of track and over 80 handcrafted landmarks, all made from natural materials like bark, leaves, and twigs. It’s a beautiful blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and holiday spirit.

We’re grateful for the invitation, but even more grateful for PNC's continued support of Hope Healthcare Services and our community. Partnerships like this help us continue bringing hope, help, and healing to our neighbors without insurance.

✨❤️ Heart of Hope Christmas Party 2025 ❤️✨

What an incredible night of celebration, gratitude, and joy! Our 2025 Heart of Hope Christmas Party was truly unforgettable.

We had so much fun honoring the amazing staff, volunteers, providers, and board members who serve the mission of Hope Healthcare Services so faithfully. It was especially meaningful to see new faces who joined us this past year alongside those who have been part of Hope since the very beginning—a beautiful reminder of the community we continue to build together.

We are so grateful to our incredible staff, who poured so much heart and hard work into the beautiful decor, fun games, and activities that made the evening so special. In the spirit of giving, we even hosted a food drive to support one of Kingsway Church’s community initiatives, reminding us that serving others is always at the heart of what we do.

A heartfelt thank you to Kingsway Christian Church, our Faith Community Partner who has walked with Hope since the beginning, for providing a beautiful facility and an amazing team of volunteers who helped make the night so memorable. Thank you as well to Chefs in Motion for catering yet another fantastic meal, and to Chick-fil-A HWY 36 & Beechwood Drive, Avon, IN for their generous donation and continued support.

It was truly an incredible night, and we are thankful for everyone who played a part in making it happen. Most importantly, we hope that those who are the true “Heart of Hope” felt just how deeply appreciated you are for all you do to bring hope, help, and healing to our community. ❤️🎄
