Thank you all so much for your patience. But just like we deserve the space to share in our own time and at our own pace you have all been the force behind what gets us through many of these challenging days. You have been praying and sending us kind words of encouragement over the last few weeks for our long-awaited appointment.
Many of you followed off with us waiting to see if our three embryos made it to day five. We were overwhelmed with joy when we arrived to find out that all three did in fact make it. Two of our embryos were more developed than the third and we made the decision to transfer BOTH of these embryos in hopes it would improve our chances of pregnancy. We were overwhelmed with joy and excitement leaving Colorado Springs and starting our two-week wait.
Two days after returning home we got a call that our third embryo did not make it through the cyrofreezing process and deteriorated before it was able to be preserved. This was disheartening as we knew that this process would have to start from square one if our retrieval was not successful.
We continued through the two-week wait with hopes of good news. Unfortunately, yesterday following our first Beta were got the devastating call that our HCG was less than 1 and our transfer had failed.
Sean and I plan to spend the next few days navigating the next steps in our journey. As we begin to pay for the cost of our first transfer and plan for our next we appreciate each shirt that is purchased that helps us help cover the last of these procedures and travel.
Please consider visiting our page or the Lennie Lou Page where all profits help to cover the cost of our journey. Of you who have done so thus far, and those of you who continue to keep up with this journey, we cannot express enough gratitude for you.
