Good Monday morning!! Floors and ceiling tiles almost all out! Wasn’t going to tear all the floor out but I found mold. We can’t be breathing that in while healing!! Please don’t mind the writing on the wall, we had some fun while demolishing the place😃 This place has already seen my blood sweat and tears! I hope you all have the most beautiful week!!

Hello ladies and gentlemen! It’s me Shelly. I hope everyone is having a beautiful Monday!

I just wanted to hop on here and let eveyone know a little bit about me and why I wanted to open a studio in Aztec. I have had a tremendous amount of positive feedback. Then there was the few people that said, why Aztec? Nothing ever thrives there.
I was born and raised here in San Juan County. I grew up in Aztec. Went to Aztec schools and would have been a graduate of the class of 2000 from Aztec High. (I was a delinquent and ended up getting my GED instead) I struggled as a teen with addiction and into my adult life. About 6 years ago I was having a hard time with life. That is when I found 🧘‍♀️ yoga. I engulfed myself in my practice. The first year I attended a class almost everyday, sometimes twice a day. I really learned to find myself on a deeper level. I faced my fears and we became friends. Today, I want to share the practice with others.

My intention is to create a safe space for myself and my peers. Life is sometimes heavy and we don’t have to do this alone! I know and believe Aztec is a beautiful place. My roots are here and my studio will reflect the beauty of this town❤️

Fun fact about me. I was the first female to play football at Koogler Middle School. 1995-1996 school year. As I helped other females feel safe to step out of their comfort zone, my intentions are to do the same with this studio.

Hello everybody! It’s me Michelle Cross for those of you who don’t know who Shelly is! I just wanted to take a moment and thank EVERYONE who took time out of their day to like my page. You are all greatly appreciated. (Almost 300 followers in less than 24 hours) i am loving all the support right out of the gate!! I know I have little to no information up right now. Please be patient. We will be moving into Aztec, right on Main street. I made this page before opening so everyone can follow along with me on this journey. I will be doing some remodeling in the very near future. I would love a little bit of input for decorating etc. as the process moves along.

I will be offering several yoga classes, many different types of massage, reiki, hot tub, and red light therapy. The space has a kitchen area in the back so Jo’s Baked Goods (Johanna Kinslow) will be joining me on this adventure! If you’ve had her baked goods you know you all are in for a treat. She mainly specializes in sourdough. We will also be offering breakfast burritos and sack lunches.
