We are seeking a compassionate and creative Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in providing meaningful programs and activities that enhance the lives of our residents and promote engagement, wellness, and community.
Position Highlights:
Full-time position with flexible scheduling
Responsible for planning and implementing daily, weekly, and monthly activities for residents
Create programs that support social, emotional, and physical well-being
Collaborate with the care team to tailor activities to individual resident needs
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and lead recreational, educational, and social activities for residents
Foster resident engagement through one-on-one interactions, group activities, and outings
Document participation and outcomes of activities
Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and administrative staff to ensure programs meet resident needs
Organize special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings
Maintain supplies and equipment for activities
Qualifications:
Experience in activities coordination, recreation therapy, or similar roles preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage residents with patience, enthusiasm, and creativity
Passion for improving the quality of life for older adults or individuals in assisted living
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
