As you know, it takes a lot to keep the cemetery a neat and dignified place of rest and reflection. Any donations, be they monetary, or baked directly support this cause.

Hello All!

We are once again celebrating our loved ones and the impact they've made on our wonderful community. The last time we held a Harvest Festival, my heart was full from the sight of neighbors coming together to help support our humble cemetery. So, I once again invite you all to come celebrate our local history by sharing in good food and good times. If you yourself are a talented baker (or crafter) we'd be eternally grateful for any donations offered up. I wanna give a huge thank you to everyone that came to our Memorial Day event yesterday. It was extremely touching to see folks of all ages get excited about cemetery preservation. Thanks to the volunteers the veterans section received almost $2000 worth of labor in headstone preservation. Not to mention generous monetary donations as well. Because of your help, stones that were completely illegible are now clearly identifiable. Allowing visiting families to find them with ease thus preserving their memory for years to come. Thank you all so much and I can’t wait to do this again soon!

If you’re looking for a way to get the family out of the house this weekend, swing by the Pine Ridge Cemetery and honor a veteran. We’ll be teaching best practices in cleaning headstones and getting as many veterans stones cleaned as possible. Here are just a few examples of stones that need cleaning. I wanted to introduce you all to Madeline, the other half of Raven's Trowel Preservation. Madeline is an extremely talented, detail oriented, cleaning machine. She has a deep passion for cemetery care and loves doing the work. Beyond being a talented preservationist, she's also very creative and very good with people. Madeline was instrumental in the ex*****on of last years fund raiser, doing a lot of painting, design work, and planning. We wouldn't be able to serve this community without her.
