Graston Therapy, or Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, uses specialized stainless steel instruments to detect and treat scar tissue and fascial restrictions, promoting increased blood flow and facilitating the healing of soft tissue injuries. This treatment involves a “scraping” motion to break down scar tissue, followed by other modalities, and requires a series of sessions for most conditions.
