My heart goes out to the wife and children of Charlie Kirk. While the media has focused on this as a political assassination, let us not forget that Charlie had shared the gospel minutes before he was killed. Therefore, that makes this an action of persecution in the faith.

I consider that the sufferings and persecution of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18

Second, let us not forget in yesterday’s tragedy, what happened to our nation on this day 24 years ago. I remember watching videos of the plane crash into the towers in my first grade classroom . A day I will never forget. God Bless the USA!!
