Smile Correction. Our patient didn't like the darkening of the crowns near the gum line.

1️⃣0️⃣ Beautifully crafter porcelain veneers to enhance the smile and the color of our patient's teeth. She was not liking the gum recession that was happening near the gum line. This helped completely take care of it. To remember also, avoid brushing too hard especially at the gum line to prevent gum recession.

Accidents happens... When that is the case, try to retrieve all pieces of your tooth and immediately place them in milk....

Accidents happens... When that is the case, try to retrieve all pieces of your tooth and immediately place them in milk. Then call your dentist❗️

If you can't find your tooth (or its pieces) then we will have to free hand the reconstruction.

If you happen to have models of your teeth say from your braces days, bring those in! It's always better to have an idea what they looked like before.

Our poor patient was in an accident and fell face first breaking her front 2 teeth. She did not find the pieces of her teeth and but had some previous models of her teeth that she used for some bleaching trays. It was good enough for us to use and rebuild the anatomy of her teeth. The coloring was on point, and this is the final result.

Lots of effort goes into pre-planning and orchestrating the preparation of teeth in order to get good esthetic results.
Things that we have to keep in mind:
1. Stay minimally invasive. We want to keep as much tooth structure as possible to keep the support of the crowns strong.
2. Remove enough tooth to have enough strength of the restorative material so that it isn't too thin and doesn't fracture.
3. Proper planes of reduction in order to get the right shape for the teeth to be in proper alignment with the arch.
4. Spacing between upper and lower teeth in order to have the bite come together as close to the original bite as possible.
5. All decay has to be removed and tooth has to be rebuilt properly to not undermine integrity of the tooth once crowns are delivered.
6. Enough space so that on top of the restorative material, we also have enough space for the lab technician to also add natural characteristics to make the restorations as lifelike as possible.
So please... bear with your dentist when he/she says thats its going to be a little while longer. We have a few things in mind to consider when we are working...
