We are a little more than half-way through the first month of this new year. Some of you have started the year really strong and have been watching calories, drinking plenty of water and exercising. Great! Keep it up. Others have started but for some reason, and there are many, have not kept the changes going. That’s okay. This is not to shame you but encourage you get started. Today is a new day! Get going. Your triglyceride levels are not going to reduce on their own. Get in better health. Start today with this easy to use dumbbell routine. Again, not to shame you, but if you can’t do 30 minutes then start with 15 minutes, 10 minutes or whatever you can at your current fitness level. The point is, get started.

This 30-minute, full-body dumbbell workout incorporates basic strength movements that will help you lay a good foundation as you progress in your resistance training.

When you eat food, your body turns it into calories. The extra calories that you do not need to use right away are stored into triglycerides. The triglycerides are present in the fat cells. Later, when your body needs energy, some specific hormones release triglycerides to provide energy. When you regularly take in more calories (fats and carbohydrates) than you burn, you eventually develop high triglycerides.
