✨ Today I had the honor of leading a training with Maternity Care Coalition for doulas on the tender topic of grief and loss — how to support others through it, and how to honor our own.

Many of the doulas shared their own experiences of loss, and it reminded me how deeply intertwined grief and compassion are in this work. We hold space for others, even while carrying our own stories.

It’s no coincidence that this training happened in the fall — a season of letting go, of change, of quiet transformation. 🍂 Nature reminds us that release is a form of renewal.

Today was heavy. But it was also healing. We left reminded that grief isn’t something to rush through — it’s something to honor, witness, and move through gently, together. 🕊️

She joined an inspiring panel of professionals to share her journey as a psychotherapist and mindfulness-informed practitioner — encouraging students to pursue purpose-driven paths in the field of mental health. Nearly 100 psychology students attended, eager to learn, connect, and explore meaningful ways to make an impact in their future careers.
