2️⃣ Store fruits and vegetables properly: Different fruits and veggies have different storage requirements. Some must be refrigerated, while others are best kept at room temperature. Research the ideal storage conditions for each item to prolong its freshness.

3️⃣ Get creative with leftovers: Don't let those slightly wilted veggies go to waste! Turn them into delicious soups, stir-fries, or smoothies. Leftover fruits can be frozen and used in smoothies or desserts.

4️⃣ Donate or share surplus produce: If you have more fruits and vegetables than you can consume, consider donating them to local food banks or sharing them with friends, family, or neighbors.

Alpha-gal is a sugar molecule found in meat and mammal-derived products like gelatin, milk, and milk products.

Although the pathogenesis of AGS is not fully understood, it is believed to be acquired from tick bites, particularly the lone star tick in the U.S..

Unlike conventional allergies, the allergic response is associated with the tick bite rather than exposure to the allergen itself.
