We have proudly served over 15,000 home health, hospice and palliative patients in St. Croix, Pierce, Polk, Burnett, Barron and Dunn Counties. Our expert staff of care professionals includes: medical director; nurse practitioners; registered nurses; aides; medical social services personnel; spiritual counselors; physical, speech, massage and occupational therapists; and a community of volunteers – all prepared to help you achieve the highest quality of living that your health and circumstances will allow.

This week’s 🕯️'Finding Our Way Through the Holidays' gentle tip: Reach Out. 💞

Grief can feel heavy and lonely, especially during the holidays. Even when people are nearby, your heart may still feel alone. Reaching out won’t take the grief away, but it can remind you that you don’t have to carry it by yourself.

Connection doesn’t have to be big or brave. A simple text. A quiet walk. Sitting with someone who understands. Even a small reach can bring comfort.

You don’t need the right words. You don’t need to be strong.
Letting someone know you’re hurting is enough.

We are honored to recognize Katie Moll as our November Employee of the Month and celebrate the extraordinary care and dedication she brings to our team.

Katie goes above and beyond the way she lives out Adoray’s purpose of “Compassion in Action, Integrity in Care” every single day. Katie is often the first face families see when they begin their journey with Adoray, usually during one of the most vulnerable and overwhelming times in life, when serious illness or end-of-life care is needed. With her compassion, knowledge, and warmth, Katie embraces each family and patient she meets, helping them feel supported, comforted, and never alone. Her commitment to the community is just as inspiring. Through her constant work connecting with resources, facilities, and organizations, Katie ensures that the name Adoray is seen and heard in all the right places. Recently, during one of these connections, she met someone involved in a community garage sale. Thanks to Katie’s thoughtfulness and initiative, she was able to bring many of the unsold items directly to Treasures from the Heart in Menomonie. This generous donation came at the perfect time, helping the new store strengthen its inventory during a busy seasonal rush and furthering our mission of supporting patients and families through the work of our stores. Katie’s compassion shines through in every step she takes and every smile she shares. Her contagious energy inspires others, draws people to Adoray, and shows the true heart of our organization. We are so lucky to have Katie representing us in the community as a trusted advocate, supporter, and friend to all.

In 1995, a group of 4 healthcare providers gathered to help people with life-threatening illnesses die with dignity in Western Wisconsin by creating St. Croix Valley Shared Services (aka Adoray). Today, Adoray Home Health & Hospice is a nonprofit, community-based organization whose mission is “partnering to improve the quality of life throughout serious illness wherever you call home” by alleviating pain and suffering and enhancing the quality of life of patients and their families. Adoray is committed to providing everyone in our 6-county service area of Western Wisconsin with quality compassionate care and support, regardless of their ability to pay. Each year, we provide approximately $200,000 in non-reimbursed nursing care, family support, counseling, supplies, equipment, medication, and bereavement services. Many programs and services are funded by the generosity of grateful families, caring community members and businesses who believe in the hope and support we offer to patients and families facing life’s most difficult journey. Your donations to Adoray Home Health & Hospice allow us to make our programs and services available to everyone in the communities we serve, and your contributions are always tax-deductible. In 2018, Adoray’s exceptional interdisciplinary staff cared for 492 hospice patients and their families. Our specialized Bereavement Team provided guidance and support for over 1,000 bereaved family members as well as those individuals in our community suffering from the death of a loved one. Our organization remained fiscally strong with generous community support from funds raised through general and in memory donations, and event sponsorships. In total generating $42,500 to help offset the cost of the non-reimbursed programs and services. At Adoray Home Health & Hospice, we consider it an honor to provide a lifetime of care and comfort to our patients and their families, and we thank you for the privilege. It is your meaningful support that makes it possible for our patients and their families to receive the comfort of care wherever they call home and support during life’s most difficult transition.
