Adoray recently had the honor of recognizing not one, but two incredible Veterans with our We Honor Veterans Pinning Recognition.

💜John Steele, served 4 years in the United States Air Force, including 1 year in Korea. Surrounded by family, John was presented with a Certificate, We Honor Veterans Pin, and a Patriotic Quilt as a thank you for his dedication and service to our Country by Adoray Veteran Volunteers Patterson, Doug Schoeller, and Skip Ballard.

💜Daniel Schacht, served 22 years in the United States Air Force, including 4 tours in Vietnam and 1 in Korea. During his service, Daniel also served as security on Air Force One when Ford was President. Surrounded by family, Daniel was presented with a Certificate, We Honor Veterans Pin, and a Patriotic Quilt as a thank you for his dedication and service to our Country by Adoray Veteran Volunteers Vicki Bolton and Doug Schoeller.

Please join us in thanking these gentlemen for their honorable service and the sacrifices they made for all of us. ❤️🤍💙

Moments like these are a powerful reminder of the stories, courage, and sacrifices our Veterans carry with them. Through our We Honor Veterans program, Adoray’s care team and Veteran Volunteers work together to recognize, honor, and support those who have served.

Grateful to be your Partners in Care, wherever you call Home🏠💜

Thank you to Skip from Touching Hearts At Home of Western Wisconsin for stopping by to help us celebrate our Social Workers during Social Work Month and for the meaningful little house gifts.

Those tiny homes are a perfect reminder of the shared mission between Touching Hearts of Western Wisconsin and Adoray Home Health and Hospice, helping patients remain comfortable, supported, and cared for wherever they call home.

As a fellow Social Worker and one of our dedicated Veteran Volunteers at Adoray, Skip understands the compassion, commitment, and heart it takes to walk alongside patients and families as they navigate life’s most meaningful moments.

Thank you, Skip, for all you and your team do to care for our community and for helping recognize the important work of our Social Workers.

Thank you for your support in 2018

In 1995, a group of 4 healthcare providers gathered to help people with life-threatening illnesses die with dignity in Western Wisconsin by creating St. Croix Valley Shared Services (aka Adoray). Today, Adoray Home Health & Hospice is a nonprofit, community-based organization whose mission is “partnering to improve the quality of life throughout serious illness wherever you call home” by alleviating pain and suffering and enhancing the quality of life of patients and their families. Adoray is committed to providing everyone in our 6-county service area of Western Wisconsin with quality compassionate care and support, regardless of their ability to pay. Each year, we provide approximately $200,000 in non-reimbursed nursing care, family support, counseling, supplies, equipment, medication, and bereavement services. Many programs and services are funded by the generosity of grateful families, caring community members and businesses who believe in the hope and support we offer to patients and families facing life’s most difficult journey. Your donations to Adoray Home Health & Hospice allow us to make our programs and services available to everyone in the communities we serve, and your contributions are always tax-deductible. In 2018, Adoray’s exceptional interdisciplinary staff cared for 492 hospice patients and their families. Our specialized Bereavement Team provided guidance and support for over 1,000 bereaved family members as well as those individuals in our community suffering from the death of a loved one. Our organization remained fiscally strong with generous community support from funds raised through general and in memory donations, and event sponsorships. In total generating $42,500 to help offset the cost of the non-reimbursed programs and services. At Adoray Home Health & Hospice, we consider it an honor to provide a lifetime of care and comfort to our patients and their families, and we thank you for the privilege. It is your meaningful support that makes it possible for our patients and their families to receive the comfort of care wherever they call home and support during life’s most difficult transition.
