I use Young Living essential oils on my dog. They’re not only good for humans but animals too! Any questions you may have i will always try to help you Let's talk about essential oils and your pets!

First off, I am only talking about Young Living essential oils with your pets as I can only speak about the purity and knowledge I know of YLEO with pets. ❤

There are a lot of circulating articles out there about pets and essential oils. Don't believe all the things you find. There have been some instances where essential oils have caused issues in pets. Why?

Essential oils are NOT well regulated in the United States and many of the ones you find are adulterated (filled with synthetics). These sythetics can be harmful for pets.

And then...common sense. You must use common sense when using essential oils with your pets. Allowing them to have an out when you are diffusing in case they are not a fan, diluting them when applying topically (unless it is an Animals Scents oil!) since they have sensitive skin and basically treating them like a child. ❤

If you wouldn't put a drop of Peppermint on your baby, don't put a drop of Peppermint on your dog. If you would heavily dilute Peppermint for your babe for a specific reason, then heavily dilute the Peppermint for your dog.

Here are a few resources that you need if you are concerned about using essential oils with your pets....

1- The Animal Desk Reference: https://www.discoverlsp.com/1st-edition-essential-oils-animal-desk-reference.html

This book is INTENSE and filled with so much info when it comes to all animals and pets. When in doubt, you grab this amazing thing!

2- The Animal Scents Line: https://www.youngliving.com/en_US/products/c/at-home/animal-scents

Wait? Young Living has a line dedicated to JUST PETS?! Yes. In fact they do an Animal Convention where they bring in vets and experts for members to learn about how safe essential oils are to use with their pets. From birds to horses. Young Living wants you to feel confident having a natural resource for your pets. ❤

LAVENDER OIL

University researchers in Japan found that diffusing certain aromas in an office environment dramatically improved mental accuracy and concentration. Diffused lavender resulted in 20 percent fewer errors (diffused lemon was 54 percent and jasmine was 33 percent fewer errors. (EODR, published January 2009)
lavender oil is often referred to as the "universal oil" because it has so many uses.

The second oil I would like to mention is frankincense. Most of this oil comes from Saudi Arabia and Yemen. It is a holy oil in the Middle East and was used religiously for thousands of years. It is well known for its healing powers. It has been researched and used therapeutically in European hospitals. The American Heart Association acknowledges frankincense as an anti-inflammatory and is used on heart patients. It is distilled from the pitch of the Frankincense tree, and because of the sesquiterpenes, has been documented to cross the blood-brain barrier, helps oxygenate the pineal and pituitary glands, thus improving attitude. It is anticatarrhal, antitumoral, ulcers, immunostimulant, and antidepressant. It is a strong antiviral, antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial, antiseptic, expectorant, respiratory treatments, aging skin and other skin problems, and spiritual receptivity.

To honor the Christmas season I would like to tell you about the holy oils listed in the bible. Today I will introduce Cassia. Cassia comes primarily from China and is a close relative to cinnamon. It is anti-infectious, anti-bacterial, anticoagulant, antimicrobial, and antispasmodic. Cassia should always be diluted or blended with a carrier oil due to its high phenol content. It improves circulation of the blood and brings warmth to the joints and other parts of the body affected rheumatism and arthritis. This oil has so many wonderful healing properties that I can't list them all. You can check this oil out at Youngliving.com. "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; the sceptre of Thy kingdom is a right sceptre, Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces whereby they have made thee glad." Psalm 45:6-8 and Hebrews 1:8-9
