Your core is so much more than a six-pack. πŸ’œ

True core strength starts deep β€” with your diaphragm, pelvic floor, deep abdominals, and multifidus all working together as a team.

When one of these isn't doing its job, the others compensate β€” and that's often where pain and dysfunction start.

Here's a simple core connection exercise:
🌬️ Inhale fully β€” let your belly expand and pelvic floor soften
πŸ’ͺ Exhale β€” gently draw in low belly, feel pelvic floor lift
πŸ” Repeat 10x, slowly and mindfully

No crunches required. Save this for your morning routine! πŸ™Œ

Postpartum truth nobody tells you: Your body just did something extraordinary. 🌸

And it needs more than 6 weeks to heal.

Whether you had a vaginal birth or C-section, your pelvic floor has been through a lot. Returning to exercise too quickly β€” without proper rehab β€” can lead to prolapse, diastasis, and long-term pelvic floor issues.

Here's what postpartum PT actually looks like:
πŸ’œ A thorough internal and external assessment
πŸ’œ Personalized exercises to restore strength and coordination
πŸ’œ Scar tissue work (for C-sections or tearing)
πŸ’œ Guidance on safely returning to the activities you love

You deserve a real recovery. πŸ’™

S*x should not hurt. Full stop. πŸ’œ

Painful in*******se β€” known as dyspareunia β€” is experienced by 1 in 5 women at some point in their lives. Yet most are told:

'That's just how it is.'
'Try to relax.'
'Use more lubricant.'

You deserve better than that. Pelvic pain during s*x often comes from tension, scar tissue, or nerve sensitivity β€” all things a skilled pelvic floor PT can address.

You don't have to dread intimacy. Healing is possible, and you're not alone. We're here to talk about it. πŸ’™

Quick check-in: Can you feel your pelvic floor right now? πŸ€”

Most women can't β€” and that disconnection is more common than you think.

Try this: Take a slow breath in. As you exhale, gently lift and squeeze as if you're picking up a blueberry with your pelvic floor (yes, really πŸ˜„). Then fully relax and let go.

The RELEASE is just as important as the squeeze.

A strong pelvic floor isn't just tight β€” it's one that can both contract AND relax fully. Save this and try it 5x today! πŸ’œ

Pregnancy changes everything β€” including your core. 🀰

As your belly grows, your deep core muscles (including your pelvic floor) work overtime to support you. But without proper guidance, this can lead to diastasis recti, pelvic pressure, and postpartum recovery that takes much longer than it should.

The good news? Pelvic floor PT during pregnancy can:
✨ Reduce pelvic girdle pain
✨ Prepare your body for labor
✨ Speed up postpartum recovery
✨ Help you feel strong and supported

You don't have to white-knuckle through pregnancy. We're here.

Let's talk about something most women never understand about their body. πŸ’œ

Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that support your bladder, bowel, and uterus. And just like any other muscle, it can become too tight, too weak, or dysfunctional β€” causing a whole range of symptoms you may have been told to 'just live with.'

Leaking when you laugh. Pain during intimacy. Heaviness or pressure in your pelvis. Postpartum recovery that just doesn't feel right.

None of that is your 'new normal.' Pelvic floor PT can help. πŸ’™

Cancer treatment impacts more than one area of the body.

-Scar tissue.
-Strength loss.
-Bowel and bladder changes.
-Pelvic pain.

Rehab is not optional β€” it’s essential for restoring quality of life.
Support after treatment is just as important as treatment itself.

Leaking when you sneeze, jump, or run is common.

But it isn’t a personal failure.

It’s often about timing and load management β€” not just strength.

Improvement is possible at any stage of life.

You are not β€œjust getting older.” You are adaptable.
