We didn't get to do a group forage before the cold set in so I'm planning one for the spring. Probably just going to hold donation based classes bc ethically wildcrafting is a pretty important skill everyone should have access to.

Hello my loves, it's been a long time.

I am alive.

I have been ethically wildcrafting for my shop this year but have been faced with a delema. The maiden venturing into motherhood that opened Goddess Grown in 2018 is not the same battleworn being that stands before you now. Death has the power to transmute and gives us the ability to be reborn. I find myself on a different path, one in the liminal space between life and death. The rebranding and changes in my shop will reflect this.

As I am reborn from the ashes, so is Goddess Grown Apothecary.

I was debating whether or not I wanted to share this with the world, but there is many a lesson to be learned and much knowledge to be shared. My hope is that this journey will help others who find themselves on the same path.

I have stage 3 triple negative invasive mammary carcinoma. An aggressive form of breast cancer. You can do everything right but you can not outrun your genetics. This card was in my hand the moment I came into this world.

My first round of chemotherapy was yesterday. I am already in battle.

Beneath the full moon and eclipse I have redone all of my Goddess Offering recipes, baths, incenses, and simmer pot blends.

A tea blend I made for my flame keeping shift last night with Sanctuary of Brigid

Someday it'll be in my shop, for now, I hope you all enjoy it.

1 cinnamon stick
(I use it to stir then let it steep)
1 small bay leaf or a quarter of a lrg one
1 tsp raw ginger
1 tsp chamomile
1/2 tsp calendula
1/2 tsp red clover
Honey to taste
(bees are associated with the Goddess)

Step for 6-8 mins
Makes 1-2 cups
