Friday Feels are back. This week, we're exploring the emotion of Relief. As a positive, complex feeling, Relief is something we often crave.

Relief can be identified through physical signs like relaxed breathing or muscles. It plays a vital role in our daily lives, motivating us to keep moving forward.

Which emotion should we explore next?

Last week, participants in our SUD program visited the Reginald F. Lewis Museum to engage in history, reflection, and culture — and to explore how those stories connect to becoming visionaries and change-makers in their own lives.

Recovery is not dull at Live Benevolent. It’s expansive.

There is so much to see, so much to learn, and so much growth available while becoming the best version of yourself.

Healing doesn’t mean isolation. It means exposure. It means community. It means movement.

Live Benevolent Behavioral Health Services was honored to be a proud sponsor of The Nolita Project Annual Fundraiser: TNP Talks last Friday.

We truly enjoyed supporting an event dedicated to healing, empowerment, and creating opportunities within our communities. Partnering with like-minded organizations like The Nolita Project reminds us how powerful collaboration can be.

Grateful for the experience and excited for continued impact together 💚💙

This past weekend, our PRP team hosted a Self-Love & Money Management Workshop for our adult PRP clients led by our PRP Coordinator, Sylvia.

When people think of programming, they often think of youth. But adults need intentional, skill-building spaces too.

Sylvia guided participants through what self-love looks like in practice — boundaries, accountability, and daily habits that support emotional wellness.

We were also honored to welcome Sharhonda Jennings, Assistant Vice President at Truist Bank, who provided practical tools on money management. She helped attendees think about budgeting, financial responsibility, and building healthier relationships with money.

Because love is not just a feeling.
Love is responsibility.
Love is planning.
Love is stewardship.

The turnout was strong, and the conversations were even stronger.

At Live Benevolent, lifestyle management is one of the key ways we support the whole person — not just mental health, but financial wellness and sustainable independence.

Yesterday we attended the Multi-Agency Job Fair at the War Memorial building. The fair included on the spot interviews, job connections, and provided opportunities for networking. We had a great experience.

Our SUD team continues to do great work in helping our community with their recovery journey. People first always.
