In celebration of , our generous Operations Manager at Ruscombe Mansion Holistic Community Health Center surprised us with snacks and sweet treats in the Mansion Kitchen for everyone to enjoy! Everyone was invited to stop by, take a moment to indulge, and let this be a small invitation to pause, smile, and connect.
Halloween is not only a time for costumes and candy, but also a time to honor our inner child by embracing imagination, delight, and creativity.
Across many cultures, this season is also sacred: in Mexico, El Día de los Mu***os (October 31–November 2) is a time when families reunite with the spirits of loved ones; the ancient Gaelic festival Samhain marks the turning of the seasons, with belief that the veil between worlds grows thin at this time; and in Italy, Ognissanti or All Saints’ Day (November 1) honors the saints and martyrs who walked before us.
In that same spirit, let us also take this time to honor the original inhabitants of this land and all those who have helped keep Ruscombe a sanctuary for healing and reflection.
Have a great weekend!
