As a Clinical Therapist at Perfected Promise, you will maintain an outpatient therapy case load (8+) while designing and implementing effective, compassionate, and creative treatment/interventions reflective of identified patient/client needs. Ideal candidates will have a passion for providing a high level of care to all outpatient patients, have strong organizational skills, enjoy collaborating with others, and have an interest in continuing to develop competencies as a clinician.
We are a team of mental health professionals that specialize in biopsychosocial evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems.
Primary duties include:
Primary Duties:
*The Clinical Therapist functions as an independent provider who, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, provides diagnostic assessment and treatment to adults, children,
adolescents, and their families.
*Responsibilities include assessment/intake, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, case management, and related documentation. Emphasis will be placed on the provision of problem-focused, time-limited psychotherapy in conjunction with other mental health professionals.
*The Mental Health Clinician demonstrates an advanced level of clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism and systems-based practice.
*The Mental Health Clinician will provide care within his/her scope of practice as outlined by applicable Maryland state law, licensing, regulations, Perfected Promise policy, and practice agreements.
Provide high quality ongoing therapy with patients
*Maintain complete and organized outpatient electronic health records through our Google Workspace program.
*Ensure appropriate coordination of care for patients and collaboration with other professionals Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews
Educational Requirements:
*Licensed as a Mental Health Professional as per COMAR regulations as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed General Professional Counselor (LGPC), License Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Psychologist (LP)
*Ideal candidates will have an interest in working with a wide range of ages although you may choose what ages and specialties, you’re comfortable working with.
Minimum Qualifications:
*Licensed in Maryland
*1-3+ years of experience
*Active Malpractice Insurance
*Must Meet the local and national background check standards
