✨ Meet the SST Team! ✨
I’m Megan Hayes—SLP, clinic owner, clinical supervisor, and someone who still can’t believe this is real life. Opening Sunflower Speech Therapy has been a dream I didn’t know was possible—and now I get to live it with the most incredible team.
🌻 A little about me: I’ve been in Maryland for 10 years, but I’m originally a Jersey girl. I graduated from Kean University for undergrad and later earned my master’s from Loyola University Maryland. I wear a few hats here—SLP, grad student supervisor, mentor, and on-going learner as this field continues to evolve. I’m also a proud dog mom to three very spoiled pups and a firm believer that therapy should be fun, affirming, and relationship-centered.
🌻 Sade is a fellow Loyola grad (go Greyhounds!) and originally from Minnesota. She is the proud dog mom to Grover! Sade is a calm, steady force—always eager to learn and grow, and deeply committed to evidence-based, student-centered care. She currently provides school-based services at a non-public school and brings so much thoughtfulness to everything she does.
🌻 Meghan (yes, another one!) is also a Loyola alum and originally from Indiana. Also a proud pup mama to Roscoe. Meghan grew up surrounded by the world of speech—her mom is an SLP, and she’s experienced therapy as a client herself. Her personal insight fuels the way she connects with kids in a deeply empathetic, neurodivergent-affirming way.
🌻 Alaina is the magic behind the scenes. She’s my sister-in-law, our amazing office manager, a full-time 5th grade teacher, a mom to the sweetest little girl Layla, and she’s currently expecting a baby boy! Alaina helps make the day-to-day run smoothly. She will be the initial one greeting you as you inquire about our services!
