Good Morning,

We would like to announce that Greater Baltimore Retina will be hosting a virtual CE this month, prepared and presented by our very own retina specialist, Christina Antonopoulos, MD, FACS on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 at 6:00 pm.

The lecture will cover "A case review series of commonly and uncommonly encountered retinal diseases." This event will be done in one part and hosted virtually.

We would like to extend an invitation to any and all providers who may be interested in the CE program.

Our Specialist

Dr. Christina Antonopoulos obtained her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She went on to complete an internship in the Department of Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School and completed her Ophthalmology Residency at the W.K. Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan. Dr. Antonopoulos proceeded to complete a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology at Boston University Medical Center.

Dr. Antonopoulos is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. She is the author of several peer-reviewed publications and holds particular clinical interest in treating diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, uveitis and surgical disease of the retina and vitreous.
