The Heart Center team had a wonderful time welcoming Dr. Stephanie Fuller to the family! ❤️ The room was full of laughter, reminiscing and most importantly looking forward to the future.
Dr. Fuller is our new Chief of Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery. 👏 She is also the Co-director of the Blalock - Taussig - Thomas Heart Center.
She will begin her clinical practice on December 1st and we are ready! ⭐️

You can pass on The Midnight Feast!
Sadly, our book club pick this month was not a winner. The book was anticlimactic and the characters were either boring or unlikable.
⭐️⭐️
At least the food was good at Papi's Hampden! 🌮

Falcon Thon is a dance marathon fundraiser that supports Johns Hopkins Children's Center and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. ✨
Hopkins Samantha Lavallee heard about the program through the Children’s Center during a cardiology checkup in 2022. In 2023, she brought Falcon Thon to Severna Park High School!
“The first annual event was on May 3, 2024, where we raised over $5,600 for Johns Hopkins Children's Center and Children's Miracle Network! I continued the event last year, which was on April 4, 2025, where we raised over $8,000. This year, Severna Park High School's 3rd annual Falcon Thon will take place on Friday, April 10, 2026!” 👏
Samantha and her team also fundraised with local sponsors to provide free T-shirts and swag at the events. Local businesses even donated food and raffle prizes to make each event awesome! ❤️
For the 2nd year in a row, our Hopkins Heart Warrior friend Alister and his dads, Matt and Greg, visited our ICU with bags of surprises! ✨
For his recent 8th birthday, Alister collected and donated toys, books, craft kits and puzzles for future PCICU patients and families. ❤️
We love and appreciate you Burks-Greiger family!

Stronger Hearts Foundation (SHF) was founded by two heart parents, Kali and Conner, whose son Dawson was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). Dawson now receives his primary cardiology care from Dr. Ravekes at the Heart Center. 🫀
SHF helps families of children with congenital heart disease (CHD) during the hardest days of their lives with emergency financial assistance for housing, day-of-surgery care, and a community that never lets them face CHD alone. ✨
"Built from the fight. Powered by love.” ❤️ Learn more at strongerheartsfoundation.com.
