Update on our Midnight Melody offering.

The mission stays the same: rest support, nervous system calm, emotional grounding.
But the formula just got cleaner for the people who wanted a gentler cup.

We removed green tea and replaced it with oatstraw.

Why that matters: oatstraw is nourishment — mineral-rich, soft on the body, and known in herbal tradition for supporting a more settled nervous system. So Midnight Melody can stay true to its purpose without that trace caffeine energy.

Same ritual. Deeper ease.
If you’ve ever loved Midnight Melody but wanted it even more bedtime-friendly… this is for you.

The Steep Notes | Entry No. 5

Peace — chamomile is calm, but it’s also protection.

Most people meet chamomile as a “sleep herb,” but it’s really a cooling, anti-inflammatory ally—the kind of plant that helps the body downshift when stress shows up as heat: tension, irritability, a tight stomach, or a mind that won’t settle. It supports the nervous system, relaxes digestive spasms, and helps the whole system return to balance.

That’s why chamomile holds weight in our lineup:
• Midnight Melody — helps soften the nervous system so rest can actually land
• Center Stage — supports gut ease when stress sits in digestion
• Bottomless Botanicals — brings calm, cooling support alongside skin + hormone-focused botanicals
• Strong — helps smooth inflammation and irritation while the blend does sinus + immune work

Chamomile isn’t flashy. It’s dependable.
A quiet stabilizer that helps the whole cup feel safer in the body.

Black History Month, we honor Dr. Justina Laurena Ford, known as the “Baby Doctor,” who delivered an estimated 7,000 babies.

That number isn’t trivia — it’s a city’s future carried into the world by Black hands, again and again, while systems tried to deny her access, legitimacy, and space. When hospitals shut her out, the home became the clinic. When institutions refused her, the community became the proof.

Thousands of mothers supported through labor. Thousands of first breaths witnessed. Thousands of families who left with more than medical care — they left with dignity.

This is Black history: not only what gets recorded, but what gets remembered — because people are still here to tell the story.

The Steep Notes | Entry No. 4

Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens)—“holy wood”—isn’t about smoke or trends. It’s a plant traditionally used for grounding, clarity, and intentional transition.

Its sweet, resinous aroma (citrus, mint, pine) comes from natural compounds like limonene, known for calming the nervous system and supporting focus. Even unlit, it carries scent—burning simply releases what time has already developed.

Important context:
True Palo Santo is never cut alive. It’s harvested only after the tree falls naturally and rests for years, allowing the resin to mature. Ethics and potency go hand in hand.

When burned, it isn’t meant to clear everything out—it’s used to call yourself back in.
Pause. Breathe. Reset.

This is why we share the story—not just the wood.

February isn’t just a calendar month for us — it’s a continuum.

A reminder that Black wellness has always lived in movement, conversation, breath, and gathering.

This month, we’re showing up where our people already are:
in gyms, on walking paths, in wellness spaces, and on campuses — sharing tea, stories, and ancestral care in real time.

Each event is an offering.
A pause.
A chance to reconnect with the body, the block, and the legacy we carry forward.

Come sip with us.
Come build with us.
Come be reminded that wellness has always been ours.

🖤 Black history isn’t behind us — it’s happening live.
