We’ve learned something over time: people don’t need more motivation.
They need more support.

That’s the heart of Holmes Hydration x Merritt Clubs Downtown—a members-only in-club experience built around tea ritual + education that’s practical, not performative. A small pause. A real reset. A reminder that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be complicated to be powerful.

Gratitude to M. Jones for trusting us and sharing her experience.

To have an idea, act on it, and see it support someone’s daily life is not lost on us. This blend was actually the second formula we ever developed, created after recognizing how many of our shared challenges begin in the gut. Digestion, energy, and overall balance are deeply connected—and we wanted to offer something gentle, intentional, and consistent enough to become part of a real routine.

This is why we blend.
For the quiet wins.
For the daily cups that make life feel more manageable.

Healers need love too… so thank you. 🤎
To everyone who lent their heartfelt words and shared what Holmes Hydration has meant to you—thank you for the trust, the testimony, and the love.

We say it plainly: herbal support isn’t medical care.
But it can be a toolkit for self-reliance—
a way to learn your body, build rhythm, and return to practices that help you stay ready… not just rescued.

That’s what we’re here for.
Small-batch. Intentional. Accountable to the community.
Peace.

New to loose-leaf tea?
Let’s walk it through—no guesswork.

1️⃣ Start with a mug
Run hot water into your mug to warm it first. This helps the tea steep evenly once the herbs are added.

2️⃣ Place your infuser in the mug
The infuser goes in before the water. It creates space for the herbs to open fully.

3️⃣ Add your tea to the infuser
Start with 1 teaspoon. Loose-leaf expands as it steeps, so you don’t need much.

4️⃣ Heat your water
Hot, not rushed. Pour slowly over the herbs so they can bloom properly.

5️⃣ Cover your cup
This keeps the steam, aroma, and herbal support in the mug where it belongs.

6️⃣ Give it time
Let it steep. This is where the tea becomes the tea.

Loose-leaf isn’t complicated—it’s intentional.
With each cup, you’ll learn your rhythm: how strong you like it, how long you need, what feels right for your body.

This is how you begin.
Save this for later and sip with confidence.

2025 took us places — and more importantly, it connected us to people.

From Baltimore (home) to Takoma Park, Philly, Crofton, Bowie, Houston, Rockville, Annapolis, Upper Marlboro, Silver Spring, Frederick, and Arlington, we showed up in rooms that trusted our energy and our intention.

One of the year’s highlights was our interview with WMAR Channel 2 — not just for the feature, but for the meaningful conversations it sparked.

We built new retail homes with Boordy Vineyards, Bmore Mrkt, and Nektar Juice Bar, and partnered with organizations doing real community work — , , , .fathers , and .

We sponsored offerings for and .love (Top tier moment), collaborated with our local YMCA, hospitals, community orgs, and spoken word spaces — and held space at festivals like AfroSoul, SOWBEO, All Love (Philly), Jazz & Blossom (DC), Boordy Vineyards, and Bmore Vegan Fest.

And special love to — partnering with y’all is always heart work.

2025 was about showing up with care, building trust, and letting the work speak.
We’re stepping into 2026 grateful, grounded — and preparing for what’s next.

Strong was created for sinus days — the ones where congestion lingers, pressure builds behind the eyes, and your body is asking for relief that doesn’t feel harsh or rushed. This blend brings together dried, cut, and sifted herbs traditionally used to support clear breathing, sinus comfort, and gentle immune response, crafted with patience and care.

At the heart of this blend are a few key allies that do the most work:

Peppermint leaf helps open the sinuses and improve airflow, offering that immediate feeling of clarity when congestion feels stuck. Its cooling nature supports head pressure and encourages easier breathing.

Nettle leaf supports the body during allergy and inflammation-heavy days. It’s known for helping calm histamine response and easing the kind of sinus irritation that lingers rather than clears quickly.

Ginger root brings warmth and movement to the blend, supporting circulation and helping the body move mucus and inflammation out instead of letting it settle. It also supports digestion, which plays a quiet but important role in sinus health.

Supporting herbs like turmeric, chamomile, green tea, and licorice root round the blend out — helping soften inflammation, calm irritated tissues, and bring balance so the support feels steady rather than overwhelming.

When you open the jar, you’ll notice it immediately:
the aroma, the texture, the visible integrity of the herbs.
This isn’t powdered. It isn’t masked. It’s meant to be seen, smelled, and steeped slowly.

Strong works best when you do the same.
Cover your cup. Give it time. Let the steam rise before the sip.
The ritual is part of the support.

As with all herbal care, we encourage you to read labels, listen to your body, and consult with your physician — especially if you’re pregnant, nursing, or taking medication. Herbs are powerful, and intention includes responsibility.

This is not about forcing relief.
It’s about supporting the body’s rhythm — gently, consistently, and with respect.

That’s Strong.
Rooted in care. Steeped with purpose.

The Steep Notes | Entry No. 3

Small-batch isn’t a buzzword for us.
It’s how we move.

It’s the moment you crack the jar and smell the herbs before you even pour.
It’s seeing the cut, the sift, the care — not powder, not filler.

Mass production is built for volume.
This is built for presence.

From choosing your rhythm,
to covering your cup,
to letting the herbs take their time —
the steep is part of the care.

This is the energy people feel when they meet us in person.
Unrushed. Grounded. Open to questions.

Not just what’s in the cup —
but how it’s handled, shared, and respected.

That’s the difference.
And that’s why we do it this way.

When the body is tired, it doesn’t speak in words — it speaks in cravings, fogginess, and that deep-down heaviness.
That’s because stress doesn’t just exhaust you… it drains you.
Minerals are the first to go.

That’s where nettle leaf shows up strong.

Loaded with iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and silica, it rebuilds the very things your body uses to restore balance and energy. It’s quiet medicine — the kind that works beneath the surface, refilling what life keeps pulling from your reserves.

You’ll find nettle in several of our blends because it’s foundational:
In Harmony, it restores.
In Strong, it fortifies.
In BRB, it nourishes the masculine system from the ground up.

Nettle reminds your body what “enough” feels like again.

Sip it when you’re stretched thin.
Sip it when you’re rebuilding.
Sip it when your rhythm needs to return home.
