Young Adult Committee had a cool pizza party lunch today, which gave us a chance to meet a wonderful new supporter, Teri! We had such a nice time that we agreed to try doing a young adult lunch every Tuesday! Here's what some of them had to say about today:

Todd, "I thought it was good! It was nice that Teri came in person to meet us... we talked about a lot of stuff and opened up."

Cam, "I thought it was beautiful how Mrs. Teri came willing to share her experiences in life with us. I am pretty sure she loved her son till the end of his days, a beautiful woman."

Ceci, "It was nice, I like that she wants to be more involved in mental health in Baltimore :) "

The Gala was a celebration of great food, friends, and fundraising for B'More Clubhouse! It was a night that brought our community closer and demonstrated our commitment to supporting people with mental illness and disabilities. We are so thankful to everyone who came out that night and to La Cuchara for hosting the event! Enjoy some of these great pictures of our good times. 😁🎉

Calling Young Adults of B'More! Two exciting events!

1) Hangout at the Mall - Meet at the food court in Towson Town Center around noon, we'll eat lunch together then see what there is to see at the mall! Bring some money if you wanna shop! 🛍️

2) Pizza Party - Come to the 2nd floor of the Clubhouse this Monday 11/17 for a pizza party during lunch! Meet one of our donors and tell her about yourself and your goals 🍕

BMore Clubhouse is so thankful for everyone who attended our fabulous gala at La Cuchara last night!! We went around today and asked members why this fundraiser is important and their favorite part of the event.

Ms. Irene Warker said "It has encouraged others of whom came to listen, be aware about the cause to show financial support for others living with Mental Illness and Substance Abuse. To have a free and safe enviroment to have others alike to become productive citiuzens in society by volunteering and working through programs."

Raymond said "We're trying to raise money for a new roof and my favorite part was meeting people who are members from a long time ago!"

Walker said "It helps by bringing good hearted people together and showcasing the many talents at the clubhouse. My favorite part was watching E-Man get down on the dance floor."

Eric said "It's great to raise money for BMore Clubhouse to help people with mental illness and disabilities! We need the Clubhouse because the stigma of how mentally ill people have been treated for years is really hard. My favorite part was the dancing, the music, and the band!"

2. Come to BMore Clubhouse and socialize with other people.
3. Put your mind to move forward and stay positive!
4. Take a long walk.
5. Listen to music or watch TV to release stress!
6. Work on creative projects or play games.
7. Practice gratitude with others!
