✨ Tending to Your Inner Child This Season
The holiday season can bring up so much. While there is celebration and beauty, there can also be a wave of emotion you can’t quite name—a sense of longing, or perhaps a familiar ache. 🕊️
Even as we grow and heal, our inner child still lives within us. They show up in our moments of wonder, but also when we feel overwhelmed or emotionally raw. If the holidays were ever stressful or unpredictable for you, those imprints can resurface this time of year.
I invite you to pause and soften with me.
Lately, I’ve been practicing sitting quietly with my younger self and simply asking: “How is she doing today?”
Sometimes she needs comfort. Sometimes she needs fun. Most of the time, she just wants to be told she’s doing okay and that she is deeply loved. Healing begins in that presence—not in fixing, but in listening.
If you’ve been feeling unusually sensitive or stuck this month, try placing a hand on your heart and saying: “Sweet one, I’m here. I see you. I love you. We’ve got this.”
