Latinx/Hispanic heritage month is a 30 day celebration representing the independence anniversaries of Latin American countries. September 15th marks the independence anniversary of El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras. Followed by Mexico (September 16th), Chile (September 18th), and Belize (September 21st). In this month, we seek to honor the generations of Latinx and Hispanic Americans who have influenced and shaped our country and our culture

Join the Thrive Center and ALAS (Association of Latinx Students) to celebrate Spanish heritage and diversity all month long 🎉

Mark your calendars! Latin Fest will be Saturday October 11th, 7-11pm in McGuire Hall.
