On the last day of Black History Month, Right Step proudly honors the resilience, leadership, and contributions of Black individuals and communities who continue to shape history — including those who are breaking cycles, pursuing healing, and redefining recovery.
As a community-based behavioral health provider, we recognize the historical and systemic barriers that have impacted access to quality mental health and substance use treatment. Our work is rooted in equity, dignity, and culturally responsive care — ensuring that every individual we serve is met with respect, understanding, and opportunity.
We celebrate Black History Month not only by reflecting on the past, but by continuing the work of expanding access, strengthening families, and supporting long-term recovery within the communities we serve.
