Yesterday, UHI joined Johns Hopkins University and Medicine for the Vernon Rice Memorial Turkey Drive to help distribute turkeys and fresh produce to organizations serving families across . 🙌

As we honor 25 years of advancing health equity, we’re grateful for every opportunity to show up and support our community.

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Community Engagement is hosting a Diabetes Prevention & Awareness Expo, a free, community-centered event focused on wellness, education, and early detection.

The expo includes health screenings, diabetes prevention resources, nutrition and fitness guidance, and will also feature a fireside chat with Councilwoman Phylicia Porter. 🙌

The PATH Community Fair, hosted by the City of Baltimore Mayor's Office of Homeless Services and community partners, is a two-day event bringing together local agencies and organizations to connect residents with essential services including:
• Mental health and substance use treatment resources
• SNAP and other city/state assistance programs
• Outreach and case management from local providers

🦃 Season of Giving in Action 💙 The UHI team will be joining the Vernon Rice Memorial Turkey Drive on November 20 to lend a hand in distributing meals to Baltimore families.

This annual effort provides residents with fresh turkeys and locally grown vegetables through trusted community partners, spreading joy and nourishment across the city.
