Let’s talk pre and post care!

In preparation for filler treatments, follow these instructions:

•Avoid alcohol and other blood thinners (i.e. aspirin, NSAIDS) for 48 hours
•Avoid salty foods for 24 hours
•Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate
•Avoid caffeine for 12 hours

After filler treatments, follow these instructions:

•Avoid alcohol for AT LEAST 48 hours. I tell my clients to avoid alcohol for 1 week.
•Avoid salty foods for 48 hours
•Ice the treatment area
•Take an OTC anti-inflammatory
•Avoid exercise for 48 hours
•Hydrate 💧

It takes 2-3 weeks for lips to completely heal and for filler to settle in to the collagen. Swelling typically begins to resolve in 4-6 days.
