Pharmacists, practioners, and students from the Lamy Center participated in the 2026 ASCP Legislative Fly-In in Washington, D.C. on February 24-25, 2026.

They met with congressional staff to discuss key issues impacting medication access, patient safety, and the care of older adults.

This experience reminded us how closely advocacy and patient care go hand in hand. Meeting with policymakers gave us the chance to elevate the voices of pharmacists and the people we serve—especially older adults and vulnerable communities. We’re grateful for the opportunity to stand on Capitol Hill and even more inspired to continue this work.
